Back to HomeSelf-hosted file uploader with a beautiful masonry media browser, S3 storage support, chunked uploads for large files, and built-in ShareX integration.
Chibisafe is a file uploader service written in TypeScript that accepts files, photos, and documents of any kind, returning a shareable link for each upload. It can run in public mode, user-accounts mode, or invite-only mode, with large files automatically chunked to minimize network failures, and users can generate API keys to integrate the service programmatically with other tools. A built-in dashboard lets administrators configure nearly every setting — instance name, rate limits, max file size, accepted extensions, meta descriptions — directly through the UI, with no need to touch environment or config files. Version 6 (Holo) adds S3 storage support, a masonry-style media browser, chunked uploads for large files, direct shareable links, albums/folders, snippet/gist creation, file tagging, user management with per-user quotas, a built-in URL shortener, and public/private modes with invite support. It works out of the box with ShareX for uploading screenshots and screen recordings from desktop, includes an iOS shortcut for uploading through the share menu, and offers a browser extension for uploading web content directly. Chibisafe collects no ads and does no tracking beyond IP logging of requests, and is released under the MIT License.
