Open-source, MIT-licensed mono-repo rebuilding the world's software from scratch — free alternatives to Office, Slack, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and dozens more, from the Puter project.
Everything is an effort by the Puter project to rebuild and open-source the world's software from scratch, recreating free, open-source alternatives to proprietary tools across Office, Collaboration, Creative Tools, Engineering, Productivity, Finance, Business, Developer Tools, and Games. The mono-repo bundles dozens of individual web apps, including a Spreadsheet (alternative to Excel/Sheets), Documents (Word/Google Docs), Presentation (PowerPoint/Keynote), Whiteboard (Miro/FigJam), PDF editor, Meetings (Zoom/Google Meet), Teamchat (Slack), Photo/Video/Vector/Audio/3D studios, CAD and Parametric design tools, Circuits design, CRM, Accounting, Invoicing, and more, alongside simple games like Chess, Sudoku, and Solitaire. Each app can be tried via a hosted demo on Puter's own infrastructure or run from source. The project is young and under active, rapid development: many listed apps are still placeholders without a working demo yet, and functionality varies widely between the most mature apps and newly added stubs. Everything is free and open source under the MIT License.
