Back to HomeFast, keyboard-first open-source file manager for Linux, built for Omarchy. No telemetry, all file operations run locally.
Flea is an open-source GUI file manager for Omarchy, combining a Rust backend with a Quickshell interface that follows the system theme. It offers list, columns, grid, and two-pane views, Quick Look previews for images, PDFs, text, media, 3D models, and archives, full file operations (copy, move, rename, trash, compress/extract) with an undo journal, color tags, instant ranked search, and support for network and cloud protocols (SMB, SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, NFS, Dropbox, Taildrop) that are opt-in and user-initiated. It also handles USB drives, phones, and cameras over MTP, PTP, and AFC, and can write and verify disk images. Independent benchmarks in the README show Flea opening and settling significantly faster than Dolphin, Nautilus, Nemo, PCManFM, and Thunar while using a fraction of the memory and CPU. All file operations are performed locally on-device, and the project discloses no telemetry or data collection. It requires Omarchy, Quickshell 0.3.1+, and Rust to build, and is released under the MIT License.
