High-speed, cross-platform downloader built with Golang and Flutter, supporting HTTP, BitTorrent, Magnet, and ED2K protocols, with extension and API support.
Gopeed (short for Go Speed) is a high-speed downloader built with Golang for the backend and Flutter for the frontend, communicating over HTTP internally. It supports HTTP, BitTorrent, Magnet, and ED2K download protocols and runs on virtually every platform, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, Docker, QNAP NAS devices, and as a browser-based web app. Beyond basic downloading, Gopeed is built to be highly customizable, supporting integration through its developer API and an extension system that lets users add functionality such as downloading from cloud storage services or specific video platforms. A companion browser extension can take over browser downloads in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. The project provides prebuilt installers across formats like EXE, DMG, DEB, AppImage, APK, IPA, Flathub, and Snap, and can also be installed as a Go command-line tool. Gopeed is free and open source, released under the GPLv3 license.
