Self-hosted, collaborative bookmark manager that collects, reads, annotates, and fully preserves webpages as screenshots and PDFs to defend against link rot.
Linkwarden is a self-hosted, open-source collaborative bookmark manager designed to collect, read, annotate, and fully preserve webpages and articles in one place. Since saved pages can disappear due to link rot, Linkwarden automatically captures a screenshot, PDF, and single HTML file of each webpage at save time, and can optionally send pages to the Wayback Machine for an additional archived snapshot. It offers a reader view with highlighting and annotation, optional local AI tagging based on content, and organization by collections, sub-collections, names, descriptions, and multiple tags. Collaboration is built in, letting users share collections with customizable member permissions or publish links publicly. The platform includes native iOS and Android mobile apps, a browser extension, browser bookmark synchronization via Floccus, full-text search and filtering, dark/light mode, SSO integration for enterprise and self-hosted users, API keys, bulk actions, multi-language support, and RSS feed subscription. Linkwarden is available as an official managed Cloud offering or can be fully self-hosted, and is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0.
