Open-source, all-in-one terminal toolkit for macOS that cleans, uninstalls, analyzes, optimizes, and monitors your system in a single binary.
Mole is a command-line macOS maintenance tool that combines the functionality of CleanMyMac, AppCleaner, DaisyDisk, and iStat Menus into a single lightweight binary. Its deep-cleaning command reclaims disk space by removing caches, logs, leftovers, and orphaned app data, while its smart uninstaller strips apps along with launch agents, preferences, and other hidden remnants across the system. A visual disk analyzer helps locate large files and old downloads, an optimizer refreshes system caches and services, and a live status dashboard shows real-time CPU, GPU, memory, disk, and network statistics with a health score. Mole is built with safety-first defaults, path validation, protected-directory rules, dry-run previews, and operation logging, and destructive commands can be previewed before running. It integrates with Raycast and Alfred as quick launchers, supports Touch ID for sudo authentication, and offers JSON output for scripting and automation. The CLI is free and open source under GPL-3.0, while a separate proprietary macOS app, Mole for Mac, adds a GUI with visual cleanup review and a menu bar HUD.
