About Odysseus

Odysseus is a self-hosted AI workspace that combines chat, agents, deep research, document editing, email, notes, tasks, and calendar into a single platform deployable via Docker. It supports local and API-based language models, tool use, MCP integration, file handling, shell access, skills, and persistent memory. The Cookbook feature provides hardware-aware model recommendations, downloads, and serving guidance. Deep Research runs multi-step web research with source reading and report generation. The Compare mode enables blind side-by-side model testing. The Documents editor is writing-first with AI edits, Markdown, HTML, CSV, and syntax highlighting. Email is handled via IMAP/SMTP with triage, tagging, summaries, and reply drafting. Notes, tasks, and calendar sync via CalDAV. Additional features include a gallery and image editor, themes, web search, presets, session management, and two-factor authentication. Odysseus is started with a single docker compose command and is accessible at localhost:7000.
