About Onloc

Onloc is a self-hosted service that lets you track and locate your own devices, built as a de-Googled alternative to services like Find My Device. It allows real-time location tracking and sharing with friends and family, and supports remote commands to help secure a device if it's lost. The project is made up of several repositories: a back-end API for storing and retrieving location data, a web UI, an Android client, deployment files, and documentation. Deployment is handled via Docker Compose. Onloc supports community translation through Weblate and is actively seeking code contributions. Licensing is split across the project's repositories, each carrying its own license, so check the specific repository before using, modifying, or redistributing any part of it.
