Free, browser-based PDF toolkit with 90+ tools to merge, split, compress, convert, and edit PDFs entirely client-side, with no files ever uploaded to a server.
PDFCraft is a comprehensive suite of PDF tools built for privacy and performance, processing every file entirely inside the browser using WebAssembly so documents never leave the user's device. Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, it offers over 90 tools spanning organizing and managing PDFs (merge, split, extract, rotate, OCR, compare), editing and annotating (signatures, watermarks, headers/footers, form filling and creation), converting to and from PDF (images, Office formats, ebooks, Markdown, email files), optimizing and repairing (compression, linearization, corruption fixes), and securing documents (encryption, permissions, metadata sanitization). It also includes a visual, node-based Workflow Editor (currently in beta) with 20+ pre-built templates for chaining multiple PDF operations into automated batch-processing pipelines. The app supports multiple languages and can be self-hosted via Docker, deployed as a static export to platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or GitHub Pages, or run under a custom subpath. PDFCraft credits BentoPDF as a foundational inspiration for its core logic and is released under the AGPL-3.0 License.
