Screenity is an open-source, privacy-focused screen recording and annotation extension for Chrome designed to help users create tutorials, demos, presentations, educational videos, and feedback recordings without restrictions or invasive tracking. Developed by Alyssa X, Screenity supports unlimited recordings of tabs, desktops, applications, cameras, and selected screen areas while offering built-in annotation tools, smooth zooming, AI-powered camera backgrounds, cursor highlighting, blur tools, audio editing, and export features. The extension works offline, does not require sign-up, and keeps recordings private by default.
