Back to HomeSelf-hosted application that monitors your internet connection's performance and uptime over time, with automated tests, historical trends, and threshold-based alerts.
Speedtest Tracker is a self-hosted application for monitoring the performance and uptime of an internet connection over time. It runs automated speed tests on a schedule, capturing detailed metrics including download and upload speeds, ping, and packet loss, and stores this data to build a searchable history of trends and issues. Notifications can be configured to alert users when their internet performance drops below a defined threshold, helping identify when an ISP isn't delivering its advertised rates. Built with Laravel and Ookla's Speedtest CLI, the app is fully containerized, with its official Docker image maintained by LinuxServer.io, and supports deployment to NAS platforms like Synology and Unraid in addition to standard Docker hosts. The project supports multiple languages through community-contributed translations managed via Crowdin. Speedtest Tracker began as an actively maintained replacement for an earlier, abandoned project of a similar name, with an improved UI and expanded feature set. It's released under the MIT License.
