About TeamPass

TeamPass is an on-premise, collaborative password manager designed for teams to securely share credentials rather than store passwords individually. It provides secured access controls, defined user roles and privileges, a tree-structured folder system for organizing shared items, personal folders for private items, and data encryption throughout. Administrators can granularly control who can view, edit, or manage specific credentials, making it suited for organizations that need shared access to infrastructure logins, service accounts, or other sensitive credentials without relying on spreadsheets or informal sharing. TeamPass is installed directly on a PHP/MySQL server for the best performance and control, and requires PHP 8.2 or higher (tested against 8.3), with official Docker images also available for containerized or test deployments. Interface strings are managed and translated collaboratively via POEditor. TeamPass is free and open source, distributed under the GNU GPL-3.0 license.
