Free, open-source, offline-first collection manager for games, movies, TV shows, anime, visual novels, and manga, with progress tracking, tier lists, and no account required.
Tonkatsu Box is a Flutter-based personal media library app that lets users search and catalog millions of titles from IGDB, TMDB, VNDB, AniList, MangaBaka, OpenLibrary, Fantlab, ComicVine, and Google Books, all in one place. Beyond basic collection tracking, it supports 1-10 ratings, episode-level progress for TV and anime, drag-and-drop visual boards, and tier lists or mood grids that can be exported as PNG images. Existing libraries can be imported directly from Steam, IGDB CSV exports, Trakt.tv, Kinorium, RetroAchievements, MyAnimeList, or AniList by username, and a Kodi sync feature pulls watched status and ratings from a home media server. The app works fully offline after initial setup with built-in API keys, supports device-to-device sync over a local network with no cloud or account required, and lets users relocate their database to a custom folder such as an SD card or cloud-synced directory. Tonkatsu Box runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android (including RuStore and Obtainium auto-update support), and ships with a companion repository of 25,000+ ready-made collections for retro games and other media.
