About Lumo

Lumo is an AI assistant developed by Proton AG, the company behind Proton Mail, and built and based in Europe. It is designed to give you the benefits of AI without compromising your personal data. Saved conversations are stored with end-to-end encryption in your chat history when you are logged in. Ghost mode makes the current chat disappear forever as soon as you close it. Lumo does not log your chats and never uses your data to train AI. It can analyze files you upload without keeping any record of the data you share, so you can work on sensitive documents with more peace of mind. If you ask it to, it can search the web for new or recent information to complement its existing knowledge. You can also add end-to-end encrypted files from Proton Drive directly into your chats. The Android app is open source under the GPL-3.0 license and available on Google Play and F-Droid.
