About Wizarr

Wizarr solves the tedious process of inviting friends and family to a self-hosted media server by generating a single shareable invite link that walks recipients through setup automatically. It supports automatic invitations for Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Audiobookshelf, Komga, Kavita, and Romm, with plug-and-play SSO, multi-tiered access levels, and time-limited memberships so admins can control exactly what each invitee can access and for how long. Invitations can include customizable pre- and post-invite wizard steps that guide new users through downloading apps, connecting to request systems like Overseerr or Ombi, and joining a Discord server, all styleable with custom HTML snippets. Wizarr exposes a full REST API with automatic OpenAPI/Swagger documentation for automation and integration, and the interface is available in many languages through community translation on Weblate. The project is self-hosted via Docker and, after a period of dormancy, is back in active development with frequent releases.
